Cummins To Invest Over $1 Billion in Clean Tech Facility Upgrades

Cummins is investing more than $1 billion in its U.S. engine manufacturing network to upgrade facilities and support the industry’s first fuel agnostic engine platforms. These platforms will run on low carbon fuels, helping to decarbonize the nation’s truck fleets. The investment aims to create new jobs while retaining thousands of current ones. Cummins plans to continue investing in its Jamestown Engine Plant in New York, and more information about investments in Indiana and North Carolina will be shared later. Over half of all medium- and heavy-duty trucks on U.S. roads currently use Cummins engines.
