Our leadership brings senior-level expertise from global institutions—including Standard Chartered Bank, UBS, HSBC, and HKEx—as well as reputable business organizations, and social impact organizations. With backgrounds spanning wealth management, investment banking, sales and trading, asset management, governance, and senior management, our team brings a unique blend of regulatory insight, business experience, and purpose-driven innovation. This combination allows us to deliver high-quality advisory across compliance and regulatory affairs, governance and risk, social impact strategy, sustainability, and strategic communications—providing trusted guidance to financial service providers, corporates, institutions, and community partners.

Luke Cheng Managing Principal & Chief Strategist

Luke has over 20 years of experience in the financial service sector, focusing on compliance for stock and derivatives, corporate finance, commodity, and wealth management. He started working at the Listing Division and Derivatives Product Development Division of HKEx. He progressively moved on to senior management in compliance departments of various banks and securities firms, including Prudential-Bache, HSBC, UBS, Natixis, and Standard Chartered Bank. With his extensive experience in compliance, he is dedicated to providing comprehensive advice for clients and promoting the importance of compliance in the financial sector.

Kim Chan Principal Consultant

Kim has more than 20 years of experience spanning law and compliance in the finance industry, including experience in the securities, commodities and capital markets in the Greater China Region. Prior to joining GCC, he was a compliance director at Bank of America Merril Lynch. Previously, he served as the Senior Legal Consel for Standard Chartered Bank and a Vice President of Morgan Stanley. He has also practiced in regulatory, financial services, capital markets, and takeover law with Freshfields, a leading international firm. Kim started his career as an equity research analyst at UBS.

Jason is a successful IT professional with 15 years’ experience in customer-facing and technical roles for large organizations like IBM. He graduated form the University of Melbourne with B.Com & B. Eng (First Hon) and has a multitude of industry experiences (Banking, Insurance, Telecommunications, and Utilities etc.) Jason has a wide range of business skills (business leadership, planning, sales strategy development, and execution etc.) and extensive industry knowledge (IT sales, Cloud infrastructure, account management, SDLC) that drive high revenue growth and add huge value to his clients.
