Change of Authentication for CCASS Terminal – (i) Reminder of Email Registration for CCASS Users and Delegated Administrators; (ii) Briefings for the Launch of Two-Factor Authentication Preparation

CCASS Participants (CPs) and Designated Banks (DBs) must register the designated email addresses of their CCASS users and DAs before 28 April 2023 to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to access CCASS. Failure to register an email address for a CCASS user or DA by the above-mentioned date will result in the user being unable to access CCASS for daily operations at the launch of 2FA. HKSCC will host 3 briefings on 24-26 April 2023 to provide key information on the change of authentication for accessing CCASS. CPs and DBs should register via the Event section in Client Connect on HKEX Access Management Portal by 19 April 2023. The launch of 2FA and connectivity test is planned for late May 2023, with smartcard authentication being decommissioned in late July 2023.
