On April 26, 2023, two individuals were added to the sanctions list by the United Nations Security Council’s sanctions committee for ISIL and Al-Qaida. To ensure compliance with the changes made by the committee, licensed corporations and associated entities must update their screening databases for sanctions screening of customers and payments. They should refer to a circular issued on February 7, 2018, which outlines the actions that licensed corporations and associated entities must take concerning UNSC-imposed sanctions.
