The MoU aims to create a framework for the strengthening of cooperation on energy and renewable energy technology, in order to contribute to an economically and environmentally sustainable future. This includes regulating frameworks, incentives, smart grids and related technologies as well as the development of environmentally sustainable transportation and electric vehicles. The agreement also provides for mutual support in research and development, the promotion of collaboration between industry partners, the sharing of best practices, joint projects and initiatives, as well as a framework for knowledge exchange. Furthermore, it encourages information sharing on areas such as nuclear safety, radiation protection and emergency preparedness.
