On 13 August, the Eastern Magistrates’ Court adjourned to 17 Sep 2026 the criminal prosecution brought by the SFC against Mr Oliver Chow Pak Wah in connection with two ongoing market‑manipulation investigations. Chow pleaded not guilty to three charges of unreasonably refusing to produce documents and attend interviews pursuant to three SFC notices issued under section 183 of the SFO. Having failed to attend two prior hearings, he was arrested under a magistrate’s arrest warrant and brought to court, and was granted bail subject to a HK$15,000 cash deposit, a travel‑document surrender and departure ban, a reported residential address with prior‑notice for any address change, and weekly police reporting three times.
