In his application, he falsely claimed he had no outstanding debts, despite owing approximately $240,000 to financial institutions and concealing an Individual Voluntary Arrangement. Additionally, he misled the Hong Kong Police Credit Union into approving a loan of over $60,000 by hiding about $710,000 in debts. The case has been adjourned until February 13 for sentencing, with the ICAC emphasizing the importance of integrity and financial prudence among civil servants.
