The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) welcomes the appointment of Mr. Vincent Chan Chun-hung and the re-appointment of Mr. Victor Dawes, SC, as Non-Executive Directors for a two-year term starting on 1 August 2024. SFC Chairman Tim Lui praised Mr. Chan’s expertise in private equities and venture capital for enhancing the Board’s diversity and regulatory skills. He also appreciated Mr. Dawes’s continued contributions, particularly his insights into securities laws. Additionally, the SFC expressed gratitude to outgoing Non-Executive Director Dr. James Lin for his significant contributions over his six-year tenure.
