On June 19, 2026, Nestlé partnered with UK regenerative agriculture firm Wildfarmed to adopt its eco-farmed wheat at the York factory for an annual output of 1.5 billion KitKat bars. The regenerative farming method improves soil quality, cuts carbon emissions and boosts biodiversity after successful trials. Nestlé targets sourcing half of its key ingredients from regenerative farms by 2030 to achieve its 2050 net-zero goal.
