On 24 April 2026,Paris-based Decade Energy secured €22 million ($26 million) in a funding round led by Eiffel Investment Group and SET Ventures. The capital injection is designated to accelerate the expansion of its electric truck infrastructure platform across Germany, the Nordics, and Poland, while advancing its proprietary energy optimization software. The company operates an integrated, asset-backed “energy-as-a-service” (EaaS) model, providing a zero-capex solution for logistics property owners. By deploying battery energy storage systems (BESS), solar PV, and EV charging infrastructure, Decade Energy bypasses grid capacity bottlenecks that currently hinder fleet electrification.A specific €16 million commitment from Eiffel Transition Infrastructure will fund a 100 MW BESS portfolio in France, representing approximately €50 million in total capital expenditure. With over 500 MW of capacity currently under development and 50 projects slated for 2026 construction, Decade Energy is strategically positioned to meet the surging demand for carbon-free logistics solutions.
