Three site team leaders from MLife Engineering Limited, involved in the Third Runway Project at Hong Kong International Airport, admitted to accepting approximately $880,000 in bribes from over 80 workers to secure their employment. Tang Kwok-leung faced multiple charges, including conspiracy to accept advantages and perverting justice, and will be sentenced on March 18. He directed workers to pay bribes ranging from $40 to $400 daily, while He Yuchuan and Ye Zhifu also pleaded guilty to accepting bribes. The ICAC highlighted its commitment to combating corruption, urging workers to report any such practices.
