SFC hosts workshops to further engage the industry

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) held two workshops this week for over 200 industry participants to enhance understanding of its digitalized licensing process and trends in licensing activities. The sessions focused on features of the SFC’s electronic platform, WINGS, key issues in licensing compliance, and shifting dynamics in the securities and asset management sectors. Dr. Eric Yip, SFC’s Executive Director of Intermediaries, emphasized the SFC’s commitment to leveraging technology and fostering collaboration with industry stakeholders.
