Hong Kong’s Latest Foreign Currency Reserve Assets Figures Released

As of October 2024, Hong Kong’s official foreign currency reserve assets totaled US$421.4 billion, slightly down from US$422.8 billion in September. These reserves are more than five times the currency in circulation and represent about 39% of Hong Kong dollar M3.
