The Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced that the interest rate for the fourth payment of the Silver Bond Series due 2025, scheduled for 16 September 2024, will be 4.00% per annum. This rate, effective from 2 September 2024, is based on the higher of the prevailing Floating Rate (+1.73%) and the Fixed Rate (+4.00%).
