The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) will be hosting two sessions of an anti-money laundering and counter-financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) webinar on 15 and 16 November 2023. The webinar aims to provide updates on AML/CFT regulatory developments, share supervisory observations, discuss the latest scam trends and victim identification, present the risk assessment and mitigation of proliferation financing in Hong Kong, and provide feedback on suspicious transaction reporting in the securities sector. Relevant management, supervisory personnel, and compliance officers are invited to attend, with a maximum of two representatives per firm. The webinar is free of charge, and attendees will receive 3 Continuous Professional Training (CPT) hours. Enrolment forms should be submitted by 31 October 2023, and successful applicants will be notified via email at least two days before the webinar.
