CSRC and SFC hold high-level meeting in Hong Kong

The 13th high-level meeting on regulatory cooperation between the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) was held in Hong Kong. The meeting focused on discussing the current state of the capital market, reviewing recent achievements in cross-boundary regulatory cooperation, and exploring various market development initiatives. The senior officials from both sides, led by Ms Julia Leung, CEO of SFC, and Mr Fang Xinghai, Vice-Chairman of CSRC, attended the meeting. The regulators agreed to enhance and expand mutual market access schemes such as Stock Connect, Cross-boundary Wealth Management Connect, and Mutual Recognition of Funds. They also decided to strengthen cooperation in the derivatives market and asset management industry and explore new initiatives to promote the healthy development of Mainland and Hong Kong capital markets.
