The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has launched a consultation on suggested changes to the Codes on Takeovers and Mergers and Share Buy-backs. The proposed amendments aim to clarify existing practices and make other clarifications to the Codes. The consultation paper also introduces measures to reduce the environmental impact of documents published under the Codes. Interested parties can submit their comments to the SFC by June 23, 2023, through their website or email.
