Regarding updating the listing regulations of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE), China Connect Exchange Participants (CCEPs) should be aware that SSE and SZSE will conduct a Practice Session (PS) on March 18, 2023 (Saturday). However, participation in the PS is not mandatory, and CCEPs who want to participate must fill out the Registration form and submit it to the Exchange before noon on March 16, 2023 (Thursday).
During the PS, the following special arrangements will be in place for Northbound trading:
- The testing environment will be available from 9:15 am to 3:00 pm on March 18 2023 (Saturday).
- Attachment 1 and Attachment 2 provide a detailed activity rundown and stock holdings for testing, respectively.
- The stock database used for the test will be as of the market opens on March 20 2023.
- There will be no post-test verification session provided after the test.
- Valid BCANs must be used during the PS. Orders tagged with invalid or unregistered BCANs will be rejected during the PS.
- The HKEX Orion Market Data Platform – China Connect (Securities) (OMD-CC) will operate and publish market data during the PS.
