Promoting Sustainable Practices: The Singapore, Papua New Guinea Carbon Credits Agreement at COP28

Singapore and Papua New Guinea have signed an Implementation Agreement on carbon credits cooperation, building upon a previously signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The agreement, signed by the respective ministers, aims to enhance collaboration on carbon credits under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. This development occurred during the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28).
