Barclays has hired three new senior executives in its Sustainable and Impact Investment Banking team to advise and raise capital for companies focused on solving social and environmental issues, as well as to support larger companies in transitioning their businesses through ESG-related financing and strategic transactions. The new hires include Arnoud Boksteijn as Managing Director, Cindy Quan as Director and Head of Americas ESG Advisory, and Bogdan Oprea as Director. The team is expanding rapidly, reflecting the growing demand for early-stage companies that are developing new climate technology solutions with an ambition to bring them to market and deploy at scale. Barclays has a target to facilitate $1 trillion of sustainable and green financing by 2030.
