HEINZ, in partnership with The LEE Initiative and Southern Restaurants for Racial Justice (SRRJ), will provide $1 million in Black Kitchen Initiative grants to Black-owned food businesses to promote long-term business health and success. The grant program seeks to preserve and uplift the legacy of Black-owned food businesses by providing financial assistance. The program will distribute up to 60 grants of up to $25,000 each, and interested restaurant owners can apply through July 31. The HEINZ Black Kitchen Initiative also includes a podcast series that spotlights Black culinary innovators. The initiative is part of Kraft Heinz’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
